The Society for European Philosophy is delighted to announce that the provisional programme and conference information are now available for the 2018 conference.

Registration for Conference and Conference Dinner:
The website for conference registration is here. The conference fees for the three days will be: £50 for unwaged and £100 for waged. You will be able to book the conference dinner and specify options as part of the registration process.
Bursaries:
The Society for European Philosophy has a limited number of bursaries available to help cover travel and accommodation costs for postgraduate students and other unwaged delegates who are presenting papers at the conference. Priority will be given to applicants who have no (or very limited) funding from their institution or doctoral funder. To apply for a bursary, please complete the application form attached and send it to: sepfep2018@gmail.com by Monday 21st May. Please title the email: Acceptance and Bursary Application SEP-FEP 2018.
Accommodation:
Unfortunately, there will not be university accommodation available. Delegates will therefore need to make their own accommodation arrangements. Location:
The University of Essex is situated between Colchester and the village of Wivenhoe. From Colchester it takes approximately 15 minutes by bus to campus; from Wivenhoe, approximately 10 mins. Both Colchester and Wivenhoe can be reached directly from London Liverpool Street Station, which has regular services to both. To Wivevhoe Station it takes 1h20mins, to Colchester Station 50 mins. There is another train station in Colchester called Colchester Town. Although this is more central, I would avoid this station. From London, Colchester Station is the quickest of the two lines and has bus stops and a taxi rank immediately outside.
Sessions and Papers:
Sessions run for 1h30mins and typically have three papers. This will mean 20 minutes per paper, with 10 minutes each for questions.
For the past few years, the collegial practice of delegates signing up to chair panels has worked very well. We will continue that practice. Please do consult the programme and get in touch with sepfep2018@gmail.com if there is a session you would like to chair.
