The Society for European Philosophy warmly thanks King’s College London for hosting this year’s Annual Conference (7–9 July 2025). Special thanks go to Professor Patrick ffrench and Dr Cillian Ó’ Fathaigh for their superb organisation and to all the staff who made the event such a success.
We are grateful to our keynote speakers — Professor Frédéric Worms, Dr Julia Ng, and Professor Simon Critchley — for their inspiring talks, and to all 96 presenters from 21 countries whose contributions made for an intellectually rich and engaging programme.
Across 32 panels, we explored a wide range of topics, from Hegel and Nietzsche, to Adorno and Simondon, to phenomenology, political philosophy, and post-WWII French thought. Speaking to the KCL News Center, Professor ffrench described the conference as “intellectually intense and at the same time convivial and collegial.”
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the conference such a memorable celebration of European philosophy.
