The 2023 Society for European Philosophy annual conference will take place from the 3rd to the 5th of July 2023. It will be hosted by the Institute of Art Theory and Media Studies, Eötvös Lóránd University of Sciences (ELTE), in partnership with the Institute of Philosophy and the Faculty of Education and Psychology, ELTE Budapest, Hungary. The venue is the Faculty of Humanities, 6 Múzeum krt, pictured above.
The SEP conference aims to bring together researchers, teachers and others from within different disciplines, interested in all areas of Modern European Philosophy, discussed through the medium of English. Submissions are invited for individual papers and panel sessions in all areas of Modern European Philosophy.

Bursaries
A number of bursaries are available to assist students and independent (non-waged) scholars with the cost of attendance. These are customarily up to around €80–100 per person, awarded according to the case made for support. To apply for a bursary, please make a case for support, up to 150 words, in your email of registration. Cases will be reviewed by members of SEP’s Executive Committee. Applications need to be received with your registration by 26 May 2023. Successful applicants will be notified by email prior to the conference and the bursaries will be released after the conference.
