The Society for European Philosophy Annual Conference for 2022 (delayed from 2021) will be hosted by Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
17–19 August 2022
Newcastle University Central Campus, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 7RU
Prof. Meena Dhanda (University of Wolverhampton)
Prof. Lewis Gordon (University of Connecticut)
Prof. Michaela Ott (University of the Fine Arts, Hamburg)
The SEP conference is the largest annual event in Europe that aims to bring together researchers, teachers and others from within different disciplines, interested in all areas of Modern European Philosophy. Submissions are therefore invited for individual papers and panel sessions in all areas of Modern European Philosophy. For 2022, submissions that address the conference’s theme – European Philosophy/World Philosophy – are particularly encouraged. This would include papers and panels that address philosophical issues in the history of ancient, modern and contemporary European Philosophy with regard to their World Philosophical contexts, trajectories and resistances. Proposals from academics, graduate students and independent scholars are welcome.
